This is a light exposure unit used for creating a stencil by exposing an emulsion coated screen used in screen printing.

This unit was custom made and uses a 175w mercury vapor light that has high ultra-violet light output.

You can expose a screen with it in just 2 minutes.

It consists of the following:
– The light box that holds the mercury vapor light.
– 175w mercury vapor light fixture and lamp bulb
– Light blocking shutter
– A fan to keep the light cool
– The exposure glass
– A digital timer (to time the exposure)
– Light scatter containment cloth
– A shelve/stand that the box rests on that raises the unit to a convenient working height.

The exposure unit glass is 40″ X 20.” You can burn screens up to 20″ X 24″ in size.

These are used aluminum screens used for screen printing. The screen mesh is polyester. The screens are lightweight aluminum and oval, they will fit into most screen printing presses, both back clamp and side clamp presses. The screens are tight and in good condition with no rips or tears.

These are regular mesh count screens, the mesh fabric is white.
